Whether it is for the purpose of living or not, the structure
of container buildings can always bring us a lot of surprises.
"Stack" is a data structure that cannot be ignored in the computer field,
and an infinitely creative architectural structure in the field of architecture.
Anyone who encounters an urban building like "Stacked High" will stop and stop.
This is a LOT-EK triangular courtyard in New York,
open to display at Domino Park in Brooklyn.
A giant easel for the city, this 60-foot-tall triangular courtyard was designed
for the Brooklyn Museum to showcase the city-scale murals created by artist JR.
These "stacks" are temporary large-scale installations designed
to bring people sudden and powerful creative experiences in public spaces.
Utilizing the systems and techniques of shipping containers,
selecting and stacking containers to generate projects of various volumes
and interior spaces, and connecting their primacy in space,
diverting the weight of conventional containers to space.
In order to display the murals in the best visual state,
a wooden shed is built on one side of the triangular courtyard.
The wooden frame is built along the edge lines of the container,
and the surface of the wooden frame is covered with wooden boards to fill the empty container space. .
The mural, titled "The Chronicle," was inspired by 1,128 New Yorkers
from all walks of life that JR and his team photographed in the community.
The aim is to tell the story of New York City through art: its energy, landscape and people.
