They are almost indestructible,

can withstand almost any type of weather, and are economical.

It can be accessed in a few weeks.

And you help the planet by recycling thousands of kilograms of steel.

For all these reasons and more,

container houses are becoming more and more popular.

Container is also the second life of cafes,

accommodation and a series of commercial applications.

Apothecary Michael Redpath, his general practitioner wife Julie,

his 14-year-old daughter Lucy and 12-year-old Alice

have just built a holiday home in Gloucester,

NSW, an amazing rural area.

Part is where the container is built.

It is difficult and expensive for businessmen to

work long hours in remote areas.

The house designed by the architect of Redpaths,

which has three bedrooms and two living rooms,

took about 12 weeks to complete,

a little longer than usual.

The first floor is the bedroom and bathroom,

using a 40 foot (12.2 meters) and a 20 foot (6 meters) container.

On the first floor, a right angle is formed with the lower floor to form a deck.

Two 40 foot containers create a living room

where you can enjoy the view of the valley.

The house is operated off the grid, equipped with solar energy and batteries,

water tank and river water for standby.

It even has its own sewage system.

Container houses can flash their industrial assets,

or use any decoration on the market to

make them look like traditional houses inside and outside.

Almost all the changes from containers to houses take place in factories.

This is where insulation, lining, kitchen,

bathroom, piping and wiring are located,

which adds economic benefits to the building,

taking into account the problems of on-site buildings,

such as weather.

Jamievan Tongeren, CEO of Container Build Group,

said that it is very important to obtain appropriate containers

and reasonably use space to design.

We must know what needs to be included in them

and avoid any toxic or chemical goods.

The owner brings the white goods to the container in Australia.
